1/4 cup butter
4 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
5 cups rice krispie cereal
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup valentines colored M&Ms
Instructions
- Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, set aside.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Once the butter is melted add in the mini marshmallows and stir until they are melted and combined with the butter. Remove the pan from the heat.
- Add in the vanilla extract until well mixed.
- Let the mixture cool for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the rice krispie cereal until it is coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Gently mix in the M&Ms until they are combined.
- Press the mixture evenly and firmly into the prepared pan using a rubber spatula or waxed paper.
- Let set for at least an hour, then cut into squares and serve.
