Chewy chocolate cookies stuff with delicious creamy Nutella

Ingredients

Scale

15 teaspoons Nutella

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and drop rounded teaspoons of Nutella onto the parchment paper. Place in freezer to harden.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugars until fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Add the salt, baking soda and flour and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until incorporated.
  6. Chill the dough for 15 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper, set aside.
  8. Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop out balls of cookie dough. Press a frozen Nutella round into the center of each cookie dough ball and form the cookie so that the Nutella is completely concealed. Roll into a ball and place on the prepared cookie sheet. Freeze the cookies for another 15 minutes.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, until the cookies are golden brown around the edges.
  10. Allow cookies to cool completely to set before removing them from the cookie sheet.
