Brownies

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Cheesecake Layer

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix cake mix, oil, and eggs until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Spread batter evenly in the pan.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  5. Dollop cheesecake mixture over brownie batter and swirl gently.
  6. Bake for 18-22 minutes, until set.
  7. Cool completely before slicing and serving.
