I’m so happy you’re here! I’m Jessica Morone, the food photographer, recipe developer, and all-around baking enthusiast behind Jess Loves Baking. I live in New Jersey, and if you’re anything like me, you believe there’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh cookies in the oven or the magic of flour, sugar, and butter coming together to create something amazing.
Baking has always been my happy place. It started with weekend cookie projects and birthday cakes from scratch, but over the years, it’s grown into something much more, its my creative outlet, my stress relief, and now, my full-blown passion project.
Here on the blog, you’ll find dessert and baking recipes that are tested, photographed, and shared straight from my kitchen. From nostalgic treats to fresh spins on classics, I love developing recipes that feel cozy, fun, and totally doable, whether you’re an experienced baker or just learning how to measure flour.
I’m also the person behind the camera, styling and photographing every recipe you see here. I love creating images that not only look beautiful, but also make you want to reach right through the screen and take a bite.
When I’m not baking or shooting recipes, I work as a contract administrator, and I’ve somehow mastered the art of juggling legal documents and spatulas. I also proudly won several blue ribbons at the state fair for my recipes, proof that good things really do come from mixing a little love into everything you bake.
